Asma, Deka and Hibo could not be more different from each other: they come from different neighborhoods and would never have met without the High School.
Asma, Deka and Hibo could not be more different from each other: they come from different neighborhoods and would never have met without the High School. This year of the Baccalaureat is not easy, their future depends on it. Asma, the eldest of four sisters, must set an example. She has no choice but to obtain a mention to obtain a scholarship and enter a medical school. She is annoyed by Deka’s indecision and the arrogance of Hibo who will never have to worry about earning a living. Deka is from the middle class. Her mother is a single parent with four children and hopes her daughter will continue her education abroad. Deka loves her daily life, her neighbourhood, her discussions with their neighbour, a veteran of the French army. She doesn’t know if she wants to leave or stay in Djibouti.
