Two brave women, polar opposites, who form an unexpected duo. They have to learn how to overcome what separates them and share their secrets in order to protect the dispensary and the kids from the region’s dangers and a threat which is out of their league.
In West Africa, Colombine runs a dispensary in a dangerous part of the bush. This whisky-drinking, gun-toting nun with a strong character looks after the region’s sick children and orphans. She’s joined by Mélia, an uptight doctor from Paris, working with Médecins Sans Frontières. An African orphan herself, she’s back in her native land for the first time since she was a child. She discovers the problems and dilemmas of bush medicine, along with the constant shortage of equipment and drugs. Two brave women, polar opposites, who form an unexpected duo.
