The Horla (le Horla)

Damien and Nadia, in their thirties, are leaving Paris with Chloé, their 8 year old daughter, to settle in the French provinces.  Damien is a graphic designer for an events company. He negotiated a full-time remote working position to follow his partner, who has just been offered a position at the Institut de Recherche Rivière, where she would work with her friend Marion. The couple is also expecting a child. But behind this new beginning lies a deafening threat that will soon shatter the happiness of this seemingly perfect family. 

Damien et Nadia, la trentaine, quittent Paris avec leur fille Chloé, 8 ans, pour s’installer en province. Damien est graphiste dans une agence événementielle. Il a négocié un poste en télétravail à temps plein pour suivre sa compagne, qui vient d’obtenir un poste à l’Institut de Recherche Rivière, où elle travaillera avec son amie Marion. Le couple attend également un enfant. Mais derrière ce nouveau départ se cache une menace sourde qui viendra bientôt briser le bonheur de cette famille en apparence parfaite.
